Our company, Full Spectrum Cleaning, is a residential (and soon-to-be commercial) cleaning business with a mission of providing our clients with the best cleaning experience they've ever had while creating employment opportunities for adults with autism.
This company was started on a challenge from my oldest daughter, Peyton. I've always bragged to my kids that I can fix anything. One night I was making a big deal about my fix-it skills after fixing something in the kitchen. She was not impressed, but an hour later she decided to try to use my words against me. She showed me a statistic stating that 80% of adults with autism are either unemployed or underemployed.I decided that this was a problem I would try to at least address on a small scale, and set out to create a company that would provide employment opportunities for neurodiverse individuals. This business may not change the world, but it will change someone's world.
We are a brand new business - we cleaned our first house on February 21st. We've come a long way since then, gaining a loyal following of raving fans.
Our goal is to become the largest private, for-profit employer of adults with autism in the state. Hopefully, in five years we'll be there.
I'm very passionate about my family - I have an amazing wife, Whitney, and four incredible kids (ages 19, 17, 3 & 18 months). Spending time with them, extended family, and a great group of friends is what really energizes me.
Golf, golf, and more golf. I can't spend enough time on a golf course. I also do some woodworking and have built several pieces of furniture in my house. My family loves the beach, mountains, and traveling, and we try to get in as many vacations as possible.
This location is ideal for us. We needed a location convenient to our target market, and this location puts us in the heart of that market. It's very easy for us to get to any location in Cary, Apex, Morrisville, and the surrounding areas from this office. The options for the different size of office space means that we don't have to pay for space we aren't going to use, but there will be an option for us to move into something larger as the business grows.
