Tell us about your company and what you do.

My name is Melissa D. Hall also known locally as Medicare Mel. I own The Hall Insurance Group and we specialize in the senior market - more specifically Medicare of course! I also own a financial planning firm called Arrive Financial Group and we are all about helping working women retire wealthy.

How did you get started in your industry?

I got started in the insurance industry in 2008, while attending college. I needed a job and my mom had just heard how a young lady who passed away and her parents still had to pay off her student loans. The next day I got a call to interview at an insurance agency and the rest is history!

What is something about your business that most people do not know?

‍Most people don’t know that insurance is a real specialty. Not all agents or agencies are created equal.

‍Where do you see your business in 5 years?

‍In five years, I see my business dominating the retirement planning space for business owners and large institutions.

‍Other than work, what are you passionate about?

‍Outside of work, I love exploring my passion for fashion and beautiful things. I love watching documentaries on different fashion designers. The one on Ralph Lauren on Netflix was incredible.

‍What types of activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?

‍As far as hobbies I love attending events especially where dancing is involved. I also love to cook. It brings me joy for people to enjoy my food. I am from Maryland so anything involving a crab is my specialty.

‍Why did you choose Towerview Office Suites and how has working here helped your business?

‍I chose the 120 Preston Center because my business grew out of the space we had in the 150 Preston building. Being here in the 120 Preston building allows us all to be together.  I like Towerview because the buildings are beautiful, the other tenants are friendly, and management is very responsive.
